A well-established agile process is crucial to generate valuable solutions quickly.

TOPIC

Innovation lessons from +5,000 companies in 105 countries.

Despite enormous progress in the life science industry in the last decades, innovation management remains a struggle. InnoSurvey data from +5,000 companies show that only 10% can execute their strategy well, even though 78% make substantial efforts to innovate. The main reasons for this mismatch
are:

  1. Gaps between innovation aspirations (the why and what of innovation) and innovation capabilities (the how of innovation).
  2. Often, there is a lack of a clear link between innovation strategy and business outcomes.
  3. Not understanding which trends are accelerating and how they can impact the business.

But innovation is a skill, and every company can master it through a more systematic approach. Let’s discuss how to evolve from a serendipitous event to a plannable outcome and the role of InnoSurvey® in measuring strengths and weaknesses to close the gap between aspiration and ability.
